• AI mic icon: Appears when an OpenAI API key is active. Features a gradient effect and provides enhanced AI-powered search results displayed in a modal grid.

You can customize both icons separately in WooCommerce → Settings → Product Finder under the General and AI Settings tabs.

No, the plugin works perfectly without an API key! When no API key is configured, voice searches will redirect to standard WooCommerce search results. However, with an OpenAI API key, the plugin unlocks advanced AI features including:

• Modal display of search results without leaving the page

1. How does the voice search feature work?

The voice search uses your browser's built-in SpeechRecognition API. Simply click the microphone icon (🎤) in the search bar or use the floating mic button, speak your product query naturally (e.g., "red running shoes under $50"), and the plugin will process your request. If you have an OpenAI API key configured, it will use AI to understand context and show relevant products in a modal. Without an API key, it will redirect to standard WooCommerce search results.
